A Summary of Our WeekWe will start out this week, by reading Imogene's Antlers, and talking about a story in Third Person. We will then review complete sentences, and complete predicates. After the review, we will move on to abbreviations, and the correct way, to abbreviate, days of the week, and months of the year. Your student will enjoy playing Abbreviation Bingo, and making an Abbreviation Fold able, that they will be bringing home to show you.

Finishing Up Our Week
We will finish up the week, by revisiting stories read in Third Person, and will talk about Schema, and what we picture as we read our stories. Students will create a Schema Head to bring home, and show parents all the interesting topics, and pictures that have been floating, in our heads this week. We will talk about how we connected with the stories we read, and our thoughts during Read to Self, and while writing in our reading journals.
